A breakthrough for Dave?  Maybe.  If anything, it's progress towards better things.  Foregoing the new flashy toy to awaken the inner child and stifle the adult battling with arrested development, Dave is reminded of the what real wealth looks like.  Shocking realization is that it's not a Lego Mercedes F1 car...maybe it's wicker shoes.
